Welsh international Gareth Bale has reportedly made a decision on his future at Real Madrid. According to the report from media outlet AS Diario, Welshman Bale has decided to stay at Real Madrid for the final year of his contract. Gareth Bale wants to see out his Real Madrid contract which expires next summer.
Italian tactician Ancelotti was named the new Real Madrid manager shortly after Frenchman Zidane resigned from the post at the end of last season.
Gareth Bale has been a Real Madrid player since joining the club from Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur in 2013. Real Madrid paid a world-record fee to sign him from Spurs several years ago and he went on to win several titles under both Ancelotti and Zidane. He was frozen out of the Real Madrid squad towards the end of the 2019/20 campaign and that prompted him to spend last season on loan at Spurs.
Bale hardly got the opportunities he wanted while Jose Mourinho was the Spurs manager though he still managed to find the back of the net. He showed his quality when Ryan Mason replaced Mourinho as the interim manager as he finished the season strongly including netting a brace in the 4-2 win over hosts Leicester City on the final day of last season. His goals ensured that Spurs qualified for European football this season.
Gareth Bale has been linked with the MLS and it could happen at the end of his contract with Spanish giants Real Madrid next summer.
